There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

As a little girl I loved the Muppets, their show, their movies, everything. I loved the colourful sets, endearing characters, great songs and witty and fresh humour. I Love Muppets was truly moving and affectionate, and just took me back to those truly wonderful memories that I have never forgotten. Who can forget Julie Andrews singing The Lonely Goatherd from The Sound of Music, Fozzie getting back at Statler and Waldorf who kept heckling him, Gonzo and the Motorbike, Rainbow Connection, Sweedish Chef cooking "chicky in da basky" and anything to do with Miss Piggy? There may be those who think the show has been forgotten, I don't know about anybody else but I have not forgotten it and never will, I love the characters and the humour too much to forget. Back to the programme itself, I loved how they used past guests, Frank Oz, Brian Henson and Dave Goelz and actors like Dom DeLuise and Tim Curry talking about the show and the characters, about how wonderful they were and how wonderful the show was. Also the sets, photography and costumes are splendid, as is the music. The introductions between Gonzo and Pepe were fresh and funny, and I still laughed at the humour that made me laugh when I was a child. And I have to mention the ending, I for one found it truly poignant as they talked about Jim Henson(who will be sorely missed) and his death.Overall, a wonderful, moving and affectionate trip down memory lane, and what a wonderful memory lane it is. 9/10 Bethany Cox

Unbelievable, you would of thought that everyone had forgotten about the world famous, multi award winning television series. Then 25 years later famous guest stars, including the likes of Alice Cooper, Julie Andrews, Debbie Harry, the directors, writers, fans of the series and yes not to mention the Muppets themselves look back at the world famous show 'The Muppet Show.'Gonzo the great talks about the Muppets creator Jim Henson and what he did before the television show was made in 1976, including talks about 'Sesame Street.' Then the guest stars look back on appearing on the Muppet Show saying what a highlight it was and how they took the likes of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and others so literally they forgot they were puppets. Looking at many famous clips of the Muppet Show you cant disagree, including the Swedish Chef cooking 'chicky in da basky' and Gonzo trying to ride his motorbike into Statler and Waldorf's theatre box [the two famous old hecklers of the show}. The ending is very moving talking about the death of Jim Henson but the muppet legacy still lives on films and television after nearly 5 decades.
