Hoodwinked! Trailers

Little Red Riding Hood: A classic story, but there's more to every tale than meets the eye. Before you judge a book by its cover, you've got to flip through the pages. In the re-telling of this classic fable, the story begins at the end of the tale and winds its way back. Chief Grizzly and Detective Bill Stork investigate a domestic disturbance at Granny's cottage, involving a karate-kicking Red Riding Hood, a sarcastic wolf and an oafish Woodsman.

For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!

This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Don't let the crudity of its animation fool you, this fresh fairytale told in non-linear fashion is a riotous affair that's frankly hilarious at times and consistently smart in its satirisation of both the source 'Red Riding Hood' story and the genres it combines so successfully. 'Hoodwinked! (2005)' may not look the part and is slightly contrived in its overarching story, but each of the perspectives are bolstered by brilliant voice-work (which is where I suspect most of the money went) and held up by a stellar script (which is what I suspect brought those certified stars on board the project) that makes this one a true hidden gem often overlooked by pretty much everyone. It literally never fails to make me laugh and once even had me close to tears. 7/10

Little Red Riding Hood discovers that the Big Bad Wolf has disguised himself as Granny. Red's grandma jumps out of the closet tied up just as the axe-wielding woodsman bursts through the window, startling everyone. The police quickly arrive, and Red, Wolf, Granny, and the Woodsman are questioned by Detective Nicky Flippers about the events leading up to the incident.Red explains that she was delivering goodies for her grandmother when she discovered a threat from the mysterious Goodie Bandit. Hoping to save her Granny's recipes, she embarked upon a journey to take them to the top of a nearby mountain where her Granny lives. On her way, she encountered the Wolf, who asked her a series of suspicious questions. She managed to escape and eventually reached her Granny's house; however, she found the Wolf already waiting in ambush. What at first seems to be an open-and-shut case becomes confused though, once it is learned that the Wolf is an investigative reporter. He reveals that he was searching for a lead on the identity of the Goody Bandit and had reason to believe that Red and Granny were the culprits. Locating Red, he questioned her, hoping to get to the bottom of the mystery. When Red escaped, he headed for her Granny's house and arriving first, went undercover, hoping to trick her into giving him the evidence he needed. Open Season Is Better, This Film Sucks!

Today was one of those hot days in which all outdoor activities besides swimming would be uncomfortable. So, it was a time to lounge in front of the fan and have a movie marathon. Of course that movie marathon included my seven-year-old so the movie selection is limited.I saw the title Hoodwinked! and something registered in the back of my brain. It was much like seeing a familiar face from your past but you can't quite place it. I knew the title sounded and looked familiar but I didn't know why. Did I have intentions of watching this before or was this on my "do not watch list"? Without knowing exactly why I proceeded to play the movie. I played the movie based off of that small inclination and was I ever glad I did. This movie is clever and hilarious. The animation would lead you to believe that it is perhaps for 5 year-olds and younger but the writing and the humor definitely belies that.It is clear that the movie is a witty take on the Little Red Riding Hood story. All the recipes throughout the forest are being stolen thereby driving the creatures of the forest out of business. The police have four suspects in custody: Red Puckett (Anne Hathaway), Grandma (Glenn Close), the Wolf (Patrick Warburton), and Kirk the Woodsman (Jim Belushi). Each has their own story as to why they've curiously come together at Granny's house in very peculiar fashions. This movie had a brilliant story, great writing with some hilarious scenes. I thought the lines were great and were delivered expertly. I just saw that there is a Hoodwinked Too. I must find that movie now.

this is a good movie , mostly for kids and early adults . it does not take itself very seriously though . it is kind of those movies in which almost all sentences are designed to be funny so the story may suffer a bit . the HIGHLIGHT are the songs from the beginning to the end , they really fit well and keep the mood light . CAUTION do not take it seriously .
