Hide and Creep Trailers

In the sleepy town of Thorsby, Alabama, no one had a life. Then the dead showed up. Now instead of just killing time the people of Thorsby are killing each other, taking up arms as the zombies take to the streets, the barbecue joints and the strip bars. Soon spaceships are flying overhead, federal agents are patrolling the grounds and a few fearless individuals are joining forces to run like hell.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

I'll be the first to admit that I don't usually like or even understand zombie movies but this one is worse than most.I guess they are trying to be funny but they fail massively. The only time I laughed was when the guy at the police station told the TV guy to put the game back on.They keep trying to use the same joke about the one guy loving his car more than his girlfriend but it wasn't even funny the first time.I wasn't really expecting it to be funny but I was expecting some kind of plot and there wasn't any. There is literally no story or ending.Zombies show up and bite some people, end of movie. The worst part is that anyone who has a speaking part and gets bitten never transforms into a real zombie. They eat brains but just look human. This is definitely one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

"Hide And Creep" is a zombie comedy from a southern-fried point of view on a very low budget. The film is directed by Chuck Hartsell and Chance Shirley, "Hide And Creep" actually forgets it is low budget horror and so did I. The story was pretty tight and well thought out and the humor was spot on throughout most of the film. This indie zomedy stars Chuck Hartsell, Michael Shelton, Kyle Holman, Chris Garrison to name a few in a story of the undead apocalypse with a Dixie beltway, twistedly funny, sense of humor. Residents of small Southern town Thorsby, AL contend with bloodthirsty zombies, a mysterious flying saucer, and bad television reception."Hide And Creep"starts off right out with a pretty eye opening first scene that makes you realize you are about to watch a funny f*cking zombie movie. I know it was a good flick because my boyfriend hates these funny zombie films and he watched it all the way through with a smile on his face! Yeah that is a big deal because the only time he will watch a horror is if it is serious and intense. I on the other hand like the whole box of colors in my horror kit. Anyway back to my review. There was a considerable and serious amount of attention paid to the story and getting it as tight as possible. It worked great. The humor was low brow, spoofy and smart. Even the actors recruited for this projected committed completely to their characters and a few took it over-the-top enough to stand out as super f*cking funny! The special effects where really low budget-where talking back to Romero's original zombie film with the painted, ghoulish faces and few amp'd up zombies at all. It doesn't affect the quality of this film at all. The director owns this story and his budget completely and with the self-confidence of a Hollywood movie maker. You can when you have a good story that you believe in and the passion to do it justice. "Hide And Seek" is a true celebration of indie/low budget zombie movie making and as embraceable to the horror fan, zombie fan in particular, as "Night Of The Living Dead" and "Shaun Of The Dead". I completely enjoyed this film from beginning to end.

Saw this on Sci Fi and what can I say but it was possibly the most amateurish "movie" I have ever seen. And I could only bear to watch the first 10 - 15 minutes of it before I had to turn it off. I saw all I needed to see at that point. My god. Imagine if a group of High School students decided to shoot a zombie movie for fun and use it on halloween for laughs. Well this is what you would get, except maybe the high school kids might do a better job! The actors in this film all look like rejects from Hee-Haw and the direction and cinematography is abysmal. The make up on the zombies is not as good as a mask you can buy in a dollar store. This film gets the lowest grade possible. I can only marvel how this trash actually got released.

Any good review of this film was done by someone that had a stake in the movie. This waste of time is supposed to be an amusing spoof on low budget zombie movies. The rationale given by the makers of this crap fest was "that's why the make-up is so bad, it's funny!" NO IT'S NOT! It's just plain dumb! The DVD cover said "better than Shaun of the dead." NO IT'S NOT! Not even close! Shaun was a spoof and a well done one. Hide and Creep actually justifies censorship and book burning (in this case, script burning if it had a script). I actually got my money back from Hollywood video for this waste of 4 bucks. I would've enjoyed flushing the money down the toilet more than spending it on Hide and Creep...an utterly talentless, stupid and unfunny imposition on my time.
