just watch it!
... View MoreIt's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
... View MoreThe movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
... View MoreThe film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
... View MoreJosh Radnor is a lot like his character in HIMYM I think, I mean he seems to love New York as his setting, he likes the arts, Music, Imagery, Lighting and Emotions. All of his passions (or what I think is his passions), seem to blend great into this film and really make a nice and sweet film, maybe a bit of a strange film and plot, but the storytelling really works and I was entertained. This is a easy passed comedy, maybe even a Romantic Comedy, but with more Comedy then Romance. It has a handful of different locations, but centers New York and is kind of rough in its expression, but very likable and witty and charming.I enjoyed this very very much, it is a simple tale, a good story, realistic characters and just fun in many ways.
... View More"Happythankyoumoreplease" is a weak film from writer-director Josh Radnor. It contains a series of loosely connect short stories, most involving characters or couples struggling to grow up, cast off their cynicism, transcend expectations or muster the courage to wrestle with big life decisions. The film's best moments involve an alopecia patient (and the chubby middle aged man who adores her), and a budding writer who takes a neglected child under his wing. This latter subplot should have been the film's focus – all Rador's other subplots are entirely generic.Like Radnor's subsequent film, the excellent "Liberal Arts", "Happythankyoumoreplease" is obsessed with writers. Here Radnor plays a writer of short stories who is himself trapped in a film comprised of short stories. The film's great metaphor is that all these characters live in self imposed "short stories", stuck in narrow, preconceived boxes which they refuse to let themselves escape. The film then ends with these characters casting off "short stories" (more please!) in favour for "something longer"; they essentially resolve to let novelistic-like complexity into their lives. It's a great metaphor, but Radnor's a novice of a director and can't do much with the idea.7/10 – Worth one viewing.
... View MoreThis movie pulled my heart strings so many times. I cried so much. The characters were very developed and close to my heart. I have already recommended this movie to a couple of my friends. Each love story intertwined with each other and made the story stronger. It was such an inspiring movie, I wanted to do cartwheels around the room it was wonderful... Just, Wonderful. There were even a couple of my personal philosophies in there too. Over all, I really enjoyed it.I'm sorry but there is not much else to write. I can only describe my feelings for this movie in so many words. I really don't understand why I have to have ten lines. This is stupid. But you should watch his movie now!
... View MoreFirst I want to say that I loved this movie! The actors were amazing and the script was to! My compliments to Josh Radnor. At first it did remind me a bid of a Woody Allen movie (im sure i wasn't the only one). But Josh has his own style. The dialogue was great, not to over dramatic and funny in some ways. The characters were people you can really relate to and they are understandable. The story itself wasn't really the most original one I've every heard but the way it was written was good. It never gets boring and when you're watching the movie you really want to know happens next to the characters. Each character gets enough time on screen so you get to 'know' and understand them. I would recommend this movie to everybody, it's fun and again, the actors (especially Josh Radnor) are amazing.
