Really Surprised!

... View MoreThe performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
... View MoreJust intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
... View MoreThis movie is a great introduction to the concept of true property rights, most basic being the idea that each individual owns their own body. With self ownership also comes the responsibility for self protection so if the government does not allow freedom to put whatever you want into yourself or the freedom to own tools for self defense you are not free at all. This movie explains this concept in a way that many people who would never read most libertarian authors will easily grasp. While I'm not much of a fan of punk or rap the music in this movie is a great way to express the ideas to very wide audience, a bit like Schoolhouse Rock for liberty people.
... View MoreThis movie provides information on the importance of freedom and how current laws and policies are detrimental to freedom and well-being. If the gun rights people and those for the end of the drug war joined forces against current laws they would be a powerful force for positive change. The end of the drug war would be a boost to our economy in that the money used to fight this never ending war could be used for good. The prison population would decrease, people with drug problems would be more apt to seek help, and people would be secure in knowing they can protect themselves and their families if threatened. This movie is both informative and entertaining.
