I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.

Bad screen play, bad story writing, bad acting, bad ending...

Due to Bangladeshi GUGGUS, the rating of this movie is like this. But I can give you this assurance that it's not one star movie. The way they have tried to show old Calcutta is really nice. Music is also nice. So don't go with these Bangladeshi's review. They don't have enough food to have but when it comes to protest against India they are always one step ahead. These Bangladeshi have forgot that they are Independent because of us. As a Bengali I know that in Bangladesh lot of Hindu Bengali are there who had suffered a lot still suffering. What we have seen in Gunday movie, I mean related to Bangladesh Camp and other things those things are true.

Gunday- 2014 Director: Ali Abbas Zafar Hard to digest the Inappropriate and Inaccurate events shown in the film. The film begins with the narrator saying Bangladesh was born out of Indo-Pak War of 1971. FALSE !!! It is very important to keep in mind that while making a film based on history it should totally be based on reality and even a bit of lie can destroy it. Well, Ranveer and Arjun made a good pair. Ranveer is a very fine actor. Ali Abbas Zafar is one of the good directors but he didn't realize many things while making the film. Songs saved 5% of the Film. Yash Raj Films, Kindly utilize your finances properly.
