Best movie of this year hands down!
... View MoreIt's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
... View MoreOne of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
... View MoreGreat movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
... View MoreJulia Stinshoff plays identical twins Vanessa and Maria. Whilst Vanessa and Maria are identical in their physical appearances they are not identical in their personalities. This is because Vanessa is a con artist, the bad girl and Maria is a nun, the good girl. Vanessa and Maria's worlds collided with each other here as Vanessa having got himself into a spot of trouble runs into refuge at Maria's convent. This was a very fun movie with Julia Stinshoff as both sisters especially how each of the sisters found themselves in the other's world. Good Girl, Bad Girl presents an enjoyable tale with an unexpected villain that came out towards the end.
... View MoreJust released here on DVD, this German made TV movie has a mix of established British and German actors. I think the German actors voices may have been dubbed into English. Story concerns a club dancer and con artist called Vanessa (Stinshoff) who inadvertently gets mixed up in, and framed for a murder. She goes on the run from the drug dealers/murderers and the police, with a fortune in diamonds. She visits her twin sister called Maria who is the Prioress of a convent and then a comedy of errors starts with the sister being mistaken for Vanessa, and Vanessa for her sister Maria. The role reversals lead to a few funny moments. Although this is light entertainment, there is enough action including several good car chases and plenty of crashes, stunts, explosions, a few fights and a song. For me this movie was like a cross between Sister Act, Nuns on the Run and The Transporter!!! Graham McTavish and Ross Boatman are good as the villains and Nick Brimble as the aging cop. Marcia Warren is just great as Sister Agatha and steals the show. A reasonably entertaining hour and a half. I've seen a lot worse.
