There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

Early Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote short, directed by Chuck Jones with a story by Michael Maltese. As you might expect from this series, there isn't much of a plot, just Coyote trying and failing to capture Road Runner over and over. The gags are funny, though. Some of the methods used by Coyote this time include a dynamite arrow misfire, quick-drying cement that isn't quite quick enough, and the old standby "fun with boulders." But the best and my absolute favorite bit from the whole cartoon (and one of my faves from ANY Road Runner cartoon) is when the Coyote dresses up in drag as a female hitchhiker. The animation is beautiful, with well-drawn characters and backgrounds and exciting action scenes. Really love the colors in this, too. Carl Stalling's music is energetic and fits the action perfectly. A fun cartoon that will surely please fans of the series. The gags are great and the animation is creative, which is all you can ask for from a Road Runner and Coyote short.

. . . than in 2016 America. GOING! GOING! GOSH! is just another in a long line of Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes animated short tributes to Wile C. Coyote (a.k.a., "Carnivorus Vulgaris," a.k.a. Donald Trump). Just as The Donald always is scheming to order Mexican Walls from Acme Corp. (probably a Trump subsidiary), C.O.D., or to supply Japan, South Korea, and the 117 NATO nations with their own Nukes (from Acme, of course), Mr. Coyote is continually diagramming his plans to Eat Roadrunner Steak Again. True, Wile's blueprints are far more sophisticated than any of the Trial Balloons Trump has tried to pump up to date, but there's a lot to be said for The Donald's K.I.S.S. Principle (that is, the dates with witch he's been pictured on various "Kiss Cams" down through the years). In a few ill-advised later Coyote Cartoons, Wile actually speaks--and he sounds EXACTLY like Mr. Trump. "I am a Genius. My brain is Soooo Huuuuge, because that's the kind of brain that we Geniis have. Even my business card says 'I am a Genius.'" This is a direct quote from one such short. Hopefully, Wile will run this year on the True Blue Conservative Party ticket, so that he can debate The Donald. Then everyone will know what an Echo Chamber sounds like!

The third pairing of Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner is still good and features many gags that work, including the Coyote dressing up as a woman hitch-hiker, a hot-air balloon, and the old paint a road gag. The ending is a tad too much like the ending to the first cartoon, but I can simply watch ANY cartoon with the pairing of these two and be endlessly entertained every single time. It's something that I can't truly explain to anyone who isn't a fan. But those who get it know what I'm talking of. This animated short can be seen on Disc 2 of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 2.My Grade: A-

This Road Runner vs. Wile E. Coyote cartoon is another decent entry in the series. The Coyote, or the Carnivorous Vulgaris, chases the Road Runner, introduced as Accelarti Incredibius, again. This time he paints a road where the real road is ending. Of course the Road Runner is able to walk that fake road and after him a truck as well. Coyote also dresses up as a woman and tries to drop an anvil on the Road Runner, of course every attempt without any success.Another nice cartoon this is, although a Road Runner cartoon can never disappoint me. This is not the best from the series, especially the animation is not that great, but I had my smiles and some laughs.
