I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

... View MoreThere are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

... View MoreI'm a huge fan of the Hokuto no Ken series and I have seen every episode. So to my understanding this is a prequel to Fist of the North Star movie. The story was well paced and some of the characters were unique and annoying which isn't a problem. Kenshiro the main man learns what he needs to do in order to have a brighter future ahead for the rest of the generation in this journey. After watching this I actually cried because of the sad stuff that happens. If you love Manga or anime and are not familiar with this series give this movie a go and it'll sink in and you will be hooked on this magnificent series. P.S. great soundtrack.
