... View MoreThis seems to be the kind of low budget film you watch when you have nothing else to do. Well, I got hooked by the first five minutes and I had to keep watching even though I had other things to do. The opening rescue scene is full of suspense and the protagonist's(Jonas) conflict is so quickly established that Paul Ziller and associates put you right into the story immediately. It's not surprising that Roger Corman, infamous for quick, low budget but high quality horror productions in the 1960s, is the executive producer. The setting and mood surrounding a fire crew camp is quite realistic. There are a lot of original features to this film that make it strongly recommended.
