File 253 Trailers

In 2013 a psychiatric clinic which served for more than 50 years caring for patients in Mexico City was demolished. A few months before its demolition, four young men came to investigate the clinic, determined to discover the truth about rumors of strange and paranormal events, recording everything with which they encounter. Today, the whereabouts of these four young men are unknown, remaining only fragments of their recordings.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

This movie is atrocious. It is so predictable that you could had put play, went to eat dinner and you would still know what the movie was about.Even the title is stupid. What does it mean? Why 253? What file? Of course the movie never explains it.The intro is, by far, the best part of the movie. It actually made me intrigued: An old mental hospital that was closed suddenly with no explanation, where exorcisms and terrible therapies were the norm, related by a "nurse" and a "patient".The rest was boring to tears.Avoid like the plague.

This is one of the most boring, tedious, humdrum, trite, stodgy, dragging, monotonous, mundane movies I have ever had the displeasure of viewing. It comes down to this, I watch a lot of bad movies. Believe it or not many have value at a certain level due to the fact they are so ineptly written, filmed and acted that they are amusing. There is a torrential deluge of films out there that should never have been made. Why this movie is singled out you ask? Because it does not even have a laugh to offer in its ineptness. You will lose just a timed portion of your life taken from you with absolutely noting in return. This genre has been SO overdone and all if but a few movies may be worth a watch. Do our viewers a favor. If you see the film is hand shot and based on footage found, just AVOID it. Let this genre die the death it should of after a few movies!

Since this is a Mexican movie i should be writing it in Spanish but i think the site only accepts English ones, okay here we go, the movie takes the fake documentary idea that was popular in the 90's and follows up and already wasted trend, the acting left a lot to add but wasn't nearly the issue of the movie, the movie's predictable plot adds nothing but what has been done by 100 other films already (especially in the found footage style) you can say is nothing else but another version of grave encounters which is why i am giving it the same rating.Again without spoiling details, it has perhaps two interesting scenes but still fall flat and predictable in the same way that grave encounters did, with less ''scenes'' to mention in a way so is quite possibly that you even fall asleep on it in mid time, and expect similaries with the Blair witch Project in term of those scenes, not much else to add.
