Very disappointed :(
... View MoreAdmirable film.
... View MoreIt was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
... View Moreif their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
... View MoreI hate the LifeTime channel. It's not that it's considered a "women's"channel but that it really panders to women and badly. I can't even surf past it without bleeding from the ears. And like most right thinking men, I hate Kirsten Dunst, for at least three reason. 1). She has teeth only a Brit would envy. 2). Her enormous, fat, pasty Stay Puff Marshmallow Man head. 3). She thinks the Spider-Man movies would flop without her. Really? The same Spider-Man who has been around for almost twice as long as Dunst herself has? The Spider-Man who is arguably the planet's most popular superhero? Would flop without her? Wow! Here's the paradox. While I hate both Lifetime and Kirsten Dunst, there is a Kirsten Dunst movie that I will watch anytime it is on Lifetime. It's called 15 and Pregnant and it's a typical after school special screed against the dangers of teen pregnancy. Kirsten Dunst cries in it. A lot. And mean as it sounds, I like watching Kristen Dunst cry. She just wallows in her misery in this movie, just rolls around in misery like a pig in slop, and it's hilarious. Anyone else I'd feel sympathetic, but because its Miss "I'm cooler than Spider-man" I get a kick out of it. The rest of the movie is pretty over-wrought, it's certainly no "Juno". Like I said, I mostly like this movie because Dunst cries a river in it. And makes some pretty funny faces as well.
... View MoreAt the time I watched this, I was 14, going on 15, and this film was a real jolt of reality. I'd been feeling broody, and felt that I was ready for children, and this movie made me realise how stupid it was to think that. I'm now 16, and this movie has helped me write stories involving teen pregnancy, as it really gets into the emotions of all people involved. Kirsten Dunst plays this role very well, and I was shocked at the maturity she was using. Park Overall's performance was also particularly good. I would recommend this film to all teenage girls who think it's good to have sex, and any parents and teenagers who are going through this at the moment.
... View Morethis movie is a true gem. this is a great movie to teach young people the true meaning of having a child. a lot of kids think having a child is easy; it is not. i'm only 14 about to be 15 and i know this. tina starts off as a self-centered spoiled rotten brat. her dysfunctional family already has enough problems. mom and dad are in the midst of marital stress, rachel, the sister who happens to be the middle child doesn't feel she gets adequate love she needs. i'll admit i didn't really care how rachel felt because i thought she was a little brat. but then again so was tina. but obviously she acted like this to seek attention. adam, the brother just doesn't seem to care about anything. people react differently to situations like these. rachel got her comfort from her food and her grandmother. she did everything in her reach to seek attention. tina turned to her trashy boyfriend for love and as a result got pregnant. she thought that he "loved" her when he really didn't. this movie has a lot of lessons within. it shows how the biggest problem can unite a family together and make them stronger. tina comes to terms with her pregnancy and it makes her a stronger and better person. when we think the biggest problem is truly hopeless it makes something good and makes us stonger people. teen pregnancy is a common thing nowadays. back in the day it was considered an embarassment and a dishonor. it is especially a dishonor to Christian people like myself. but it seems more acceptable now. keep one thing in mind, not every girl is fortuante enough to have a supporting family like tina's. i have seen a few tv movies about teen pregnancy but i believe this one is the best. great acting, great chemistry between cast, and many hidden lessons within. it teaches how the most selfish girl can turn out to be a caring and loving mother for her child. when you have a child you have to care more about the child than you yourself. check this movie out. i recommend it to anyone. 10 stars out of 10. very well done!
... View MoreKirsten Dunst plays Tina Spangler, a young girl who's of course fifteen and pregnant. Dunst is a quite a good actress and she's made quite a few movies, which I've really enjoyed. Here she plays a more serious character then what she has done in some of her other 'teen' movies. Here she gives an okay performance, as do the rest of the cast. It's of course not oscar-winning but it's good enough. The story to the movie is interesting, but the script could of been better as it was a little slow. Overall, it's not too bad. It's recommended to most people out there.
