Fidibus Trailers

Kalle, a nice middleclass kid, who because of a debt and old friendship ends up as a 'fidibus', a gofer, for the hash baron Paten. But only until Paten is anything but innocently jailed and asks Kalle to mind the store while he is gone. No one touches Paten's money, Paten's car or, least of all, Paten's girl, Saby, who is dumber than water.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

Take a bunch of the characters from the Tarantino movie Jackie Brown, put them in a social realistic setting and add melodrama, comedy and a lot of vulgar jokes and you get this movie... - The thing is that a lot of the vulgar jokes probably looses a lot in translation, so foreign audiences are left with a very weird view of Danes, since the satirical elements (e.g. nudges at the hippie commune Christiania and the various egoistic family solutions) will get lost. Another problem is that the acting is uneven - Danish rap-star Jesper "The Joker" Dahl is hilarious as the psychopath "Samuel L. Jackson" character and Lene Maria Christensen is cute and bubbly as the blonde "Bridget Fonda" character. The rest is somewhere between folksy and overacting or under acting... If you have seen Jackie Brown and would like a different take then this might be fun - otherwise avoid. NB the vulgarity is all in the language - no blood or violence - it is all in good fun.

A very wacko movie but in a nice and entertaining way. Silly and yet real, with a bit of everything thrown in. Completely enchanting and I enjoyed watching it.Every character had a part to play so nothing went to waste. A little bit unreal though to see the dumb blonde becoming smart and able to surpass her mafia boyfriend's interrogation. It also shows how Danes can be weird but yet it is perfectly normal in their society. I would recommend this movie but only to those who understand the backdrop of the movie which showed a lot of the pushers' scene in Copenhagen (Christania) which without this knowledge, will fail to add to the charm of the story.

Fantastic funny movie! Hella Joof has made a very good movie.... I saw it at a surprise screening in "Kinopalaet" and i did not have great expectations to it but i was positively surprised by the movie and can definitely recommend it to people who like movies such as "Adams Aebler"..... I had a lot of laughs through the whole movie! Oliver Bjerrehus "look a like" Rudi Köhnke plays the role as Kalle a young college student, who comes in debt to Paten, played by danish rapper Jokeren, well.... Lene Marie Christensen plays the role as the dumb blond superbly and danish comedian Jonathan Spang has a lot of good one-liners...
