Better Late Then Never

It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Brilliant movie.It is about gaurav chanda who is a die hard fan of srk he decides to meet him things get interesting when gaurav feels betrayed and decides to take revenge from srk aryan khanna.Till interval it rocks and after interval it is also good.Good acting by both SRK.Nice plot.Awesome and best dialouges.Beautiful locations nice direction.There are no songs but music is good.This movie is like Srk darr.Fantastic movie.The ending is very terrific and sad like darr.Overall a mutst watch film especially if you are a fan of Srk.

Loved this movie from the moment I watched the trailer. It's hell awesome. It's not Shahrukh as Gaurav, it's you the FAN. Only Shahrukh can make you feel so special as a fan. The character Shahrukh portrays of Gaurav makes you fall in love with him by his innocence, craziness and his obsession for Aryan. If you are a fan of anybody not only of Shahrukh but of anybody, you'll always find yourself correlated to Gaurav. It's been a long time since Shahrukh has delivered such critically acclaimed movie after My Name is Khan. I must say it's the best movie of Shahrukh after My Name is Khan. Only thing to disappoint is that the Jabra FAN Anthem could have been included in entry of Gaurav. That would be awesome too as we missed that song in the movie too much.

The reviews for Fan were mixed but it was supposed to be a thriller and of course Shahrukh Khan is a great actor, so I watched this movie eventually.The plot is different and interesting. A crazy obsessive fan of SRK feels slighted one day and thereafter sets about making life impossible for him. Shahrukh Khan in the double role, has done a superb job. The sets of the seedy hotel, Mannat, Gaurav the fan's ordinary lower middle class locality etc. were realistic and well done.Where the film disappointed was in the excessively stretched out stunts. There must be a section of the audience for whom these are directed. The stunt sequences are undoubtedly slick but went on and on a bit too much. I felt the movie could have easily been cut short by a good thirty minutes. Since I was watching a DVD I had the luxury of the fast forward button. Oh, and after seeing Fan, there is no need to visit Dubrovnik which has been covered in every nook and corner in a stunt sequence :)Nonetheless, Fan is an eminently watchable movie, something different.

To start of, I'm an Indonesian but settling in Mumbai. I've been admiring SRK since the first time I watched Indian movies, so I know all his movies. But Fan, is way too different! Shah Rukh did it again by proving the world that he does natural acting. How he acts as Gaurav, a normal boy from Delhi (a bit crazy) and how he acts as a superstar with some ego is just marvelous (speechless). For the entire movie, I believed that Gaurav was someone else, I didn't even think that it was SRK with a different face. How he turns my emotion upside down is amazing, and not to mention with that age he has such energy. I haven't seen such actors with that ability. The people who give low rates for this movie are either haters or have no clue what to do in their life.So if you really admire acting, Fan is way too worthy!!! So watch it!
