What begins as a feel-good-human-interest story turns into a mystery, then a tragedy, and ultimately an outrage.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

I found this documentary unexpectedly depressing. It is reasonably well-made, yet seems to encapsulate the exact opposite of gayness (in its most literal sense) with melancholy background music and depressed voice-overs discussing depressing topics. Wide shots show hundreds of dressed-up gay men partying and seeming to have a great time, yet nearly every man who is featured in interviews and sequences seems to be miserable (or trying hard not to be). The party scenes, which comprise most of the film, become quickly repetitive to watch, and the interviews and conversations ever more downbeat or simply dull. Watching this, for me, became an exercise in endurance. One which I ultimately failed, as I stopped watching just five minutes before the end. I tried, but just had to stop. It's strange to feel so low after so much "gayness".

This documentary tells the story of some gay men who are on board a gay cruise to discover themselves and their lifestyles. Some websites and blogs have portrayed this documentary as an expose of how gay cruises are not fun, and trigger insecurities of gay men. I think it is not true at all. In fact, this documentary tells how several gay men successfully understand themselves on a gay cruise. It is a documentary that is filmed on a gay cruise, but not about a gay cruise.

Basically it lacks of substances as a documentary. Through interviews of some not-so-ordinary gay fellows, you get to see what is is like taking a gay boat trip. The real documentary would be to show how this people live in the real word... Where they probably dress, looks and probably behave differently. Aside from the clichés you could expect to see in this type of leisure activities, add the drugs that didn't seem interested in showing, just to make flight the perfect cocktail (probably a good aid to live in such a superficial world.) That being said, as a gay men i feel ashamed for this documentary, it does no good as press about the community. It doesn't represent the vast majority out there. I wouldn't like my parents to see a film like this, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who actually cares to see more of what it's like being gay.

First of all, I'm gay, watching some movie where are gays aren't dying of AIDS or either suffering for being out or almost out of the closet is a change, a good one at that. Said that, I'm puzzled with this, the kind of gay men this movie portraits a men obsessed with a gym body, having sex the whole day, partying like crazy, that is not my life or my friends, I don't get this kind of life, not really, and this is exactly what they tell you should be whether you are gay. A self immersed gay, fashion kind, being drag from time to time, and then... when the sun comes up again they wonder why no one takes them seriously, I mean, honestly!? I'm sorry people, but there is more in life than this superficial world you live in. Choosing to be part of that means that you are also accepting its rules. All in all, it's OK but it does not represent the majoriti of the gay community, should that exist.
