I was totally surprised at how great this film. You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.
... View MoreA lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
... View MoreA film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
... View MoreWhile it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
... View MoreThis film tells the story of an employee who is very unlucky in both his professional and personal lives. He discovers a way to delete unpleasant people from his life and substitute them with nice people.I was skeptical of the film at first, as it looked like a cheesy and plot less romantic comedy. Throughout the film, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is. The first few minutes is super cheesy, but after that the film gets better and better. I really like the plot, it has a good balance of Hong Kong style comedy and thought provoking drama. I am also surprised by the number of really big name cameos, such as Maria Cordero and Julian Cheung. They really brighten up the screen. The English subtitles are quite bad quality, unfortunately, only about half of that is said get translated to English, and there are a lot of spelling and grammatical mistakes. Many local jokes will be lost in translation, but it is funny nonetheless.
