Beautiful, moving film.
... View MoreThe performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
... View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
... View MoreLet me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
... View MoreI had always thought the host of Mock the Week was a little upstaged by the brilliant one-liners of regulars Frankie Boyle, Hugh Dennis, Russell Howard and Andy Parsons, so I was looking forward to seeing him on his own. Dara O'Briain plays at the Hammersmith Apollo theatre in London as part of his sell out tour, and I was actually quite impressed, as I had hardly seen him cracking so many good jokes. He mixes his own written material with improvisation for and with the audience, this includes some very funny interaction and maybe a little comeback for hecklers. I am sure he will do another live stand up show, and if he does, I am sure I will be watching it, a good debut from a good comedian. Very good!
