After finding an ad online for “video work,” Sara, a video artist whose primary focus is creating intimacy with lonely men, thinks she may have found the subject of her dreams. She drives to a remote house in the forest and meets a man claiming to be a serial killer. Unable to resist the chance to create a truly shocking piece of art, she agrees to spend the day with him. However, as the day goes on, she discovers she may have dug herself into a hole from which she can’t escape.

It is so daring, it is so ambitious, it is so thrilling and weird and pointed and powerful. I never knew where it was going.

Funny, strange, confrontational and subversive, this is one of the most interesting experiences you'll have at the cinema this year.

I wholly loved and was enthralled by the first Creep that when I heard they were making a sequel and I seriously couldn't wait :D This sequel delivers exactly what I wanted and then some more

Mark Duplass is back as the "Creep", a disarmingly good-natured serial killer with a warped workaday sensibility about what he does for kicks. Hey, man. It's a job.

A notable improvement over the first installment. Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice are clearly intelligent guys who understand that a truly successful sequel can't just recapture the appeal of the original - it has to create something new with its own unique appeal. With Creep 2, they successfully build on what made the first movie work as well as put a twist on the material that keeps things feeling fresh. The same unique combination of comedy, cringe, genuine discomfort and fear is here and even more potent, and the new angle that the story takes kept me guessing as to how everything was going to play out. I enjoyed the sprinkling of commentary on journalism and internet culture as well. The true star of the film and its main draw, however, continues to be Mark Duplass. His performance is just excellent all around - twisted, funny, committed, and super entertaining. He steals every scene and, fortunately, he's in nearly all of them. No, it isn't high art and it isn't a masterpiece, but it's genuinely fun, clever, and consistently entertaining.Light 4/5

I actually disagree with some of the other reviews. I liked this second film more than the first. The scares might be fewer and further between, but, they run a lot deeper. The two main characters compliment each other very well. There is also some great comedy moments in this and they were able to make it fit in with the rest of the film. If you liked the first, you will probably like this one too.
