In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
... View MoreThere is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
... View MoreIt is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review

... View MoreI finally took the liberty to order "Sheeba" off of Amazon last week. While I enjoyed the connections to world events like 9-11 and the emotional scenes that I could relate to, I found my favorite part of the movie was that it was made in Central Illinois, in a small town, with familiar faces. My good friend played the young actress in the movie, so after watching the movie I was reminded of her hometown and my trips to visit her. It is amazing that Robin Christian was able to bring the community together to help him make such a memorable film. I keep watching it over and over again looking for recognizable faces, or even places I have been, and the plot doesn't get old. I was amazed to find that such a low-budget movie could be re-watched over and over again. Plus the main boy in the movie was such a cutie, and today has grown into such a handsome young man. Most independent films are boring and blah to me, but I would definitely recommend you give Sheeba a shot- it might surprise you! I can't wait to watch more of Robin Christian's movies, I have no doubts that I'll be seeing his name on the big screens here soon!
... View MoreAlthough this movie may not be among the highest rated or budgeted films, it was well worth my time to view. Great family film with several admirable story lines. I think the footage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks was very touching and realistic. A wonderful, heart-warming ending. In these days when there are so many more movies out there that can't be viewed by all the family, what a refreshing film that even little kids can sit down and view and really enjoy. Left me cheering for the family values that are so lacking in our world today.I hope there will be many more such movies to come out of Hollywood soon. I think Ed Asner is one of the best "family movie" actors of all time. I have long been a fan of his. He always ties the story together.
... View MoreI really like this movie! Judge Reinhold and Ed Asner were terrific as always. The kid who played Clay was great, especially for such a young actor. The flashbacks to the 9-11 stairwell scenes were very realistic, and I think the film is a moving story about growing up and separation. I could really relate to the family issues. The film also did a fantastic job of portraying social issues affecting our country after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. I felt that this historic period of American history was used as the setting of this movie in a meaningful way instead of just as a backdrop. It was an essential part to the story lines of all the main characters and the plot of the film. I believe that the movie is sure to move you emotionally, but also has some very funny moments. Would highly recommend it...
... View MoreThis movie was not very good. My brother was in it. It was a low-budget movie. If it had had more thought and effort put into it, then it would have been a pretty good indie film. I like the fact that it was made around where I live and that everyone knew about it. There was a lot of hype about it, but the expectations were kind of low. The idea is interesting, because it shows how great friendship and family can be, but it's not very original. The performances were only so-so, it seemed like the entire movie was only one big rush to finish. The story line kind of sucked at some points, and the lines were mostly cheesy. It was a feel-good kind of movie, but it wasn't even an okay feel-good movie.
