Really Surprised!
... View MoreTells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
... View MoreThe movie really just wants to entertain people.
... View MoreThere is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
... View MoreI like to watch Deaf films with Deaf actors that are not pushing Deaf issues, but are showing how Deaf people might handle certain situations. This is one such film. Russell Harvard (The Hammer) is convincing as as a young claustrophobic Deaf property owner. His neighbor has eyes on his property so his neighbor sends his daughter, played by Chloe Snyder, to try to influence his selling of the property. It's a bit of wicked plot. There is some sign language in this film, but it seems to be cut off most of the time by the camera. Claustrophobia is nicely done as well as a Deaf person hearing voices & seeing things. I would have liked it to be longer & more in depth.
