Clarkson: The Good The Bad The Ugly Trailers

This year Jezza takes the cream of Europes super-cars to the USA to pit them against America's finest, with highlights including a race up a mountain between a Cadillac Escalade, a Hummer H2 and a Range Rover, and a straight head-to-head race between a BMW Z4M and a Dodge Viper SRT 10. Along the way he also fills an old Jag and an old Buick with water, blows up a Harley-Davidson, has a Toyota Prius shot to pieces and outruns John Q. Law in an Ariel Atom...

Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

Basically it's Jeremy Clarkson's chance to rant about American cars with no distractions from the other Top Gear mates. It seems some of the drivers were either stupid or purposely driving through hopeless trails on the off road part. America has some cheap cars we all know but also there's a lot of aftermarket involved in the US. You pay less and customize your vehicle quite often. How many people in England drive German and Italian cars not to mention toyota/mazda/kia and the other's. As far as new cars go I like the driveability but for looks I'll take an older car hands down and that's where America shines and you can have driveability with some new parts on those. Who wants a factory car just like everyone else's?

Jeremy travels to the USA in his attempt of finding the best American car, or a good American car as he often says throughout the movie. He compares American cars to European ones in a series of challenges (more or less relevant) in classic Top Gear style, trying to prove that Europeans make better cars. As we're used to, he destroys a couple of horrid cars along the way (including a bike) making the show also funny besides being interesting and entertaining. Another must see from Clarkson himself!
