I saw this movie before reading any reviews, and I thought it was very funny. I was very surprised to see the overwhelmingly negative reviews this film received from critics.
... View MoreGreat story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
... View MoreWorth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
... View MoreI enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
... View MoreI worked off community service hours one day on this movie I was living in moab Utah in 1995 i was 12 and mc hammer was playing softball with the sheriffs team and I was playing my little league baseball after the game we got pictures with mc hammer and then we went to pizza hut and ran into him again we all talked and then he said he was filming a movie here and my mom said oh really he has community service hours mc hammer says well drop him off at my motel at 4 am so I got dropped off and spent the hottest day of my life in the desert watching how a movie was filmed and having a blast all I did was get him a few drinks and candy bars in between shoots I remember it like yesterday we stayed in touch awhile after that wish I could get back in touch with him
... View MoreI saw this title on the Western channel and it hooked me from the very beginning. The relationship between Cheyenne, played by Bobbie Philips and The Cowboy bounty hunter is reminiscent of Midnight Run. Only in the latter there was no love scene. It looks like they shot the film in Monument valley, which makes it's visually compelling. The acting is very good, with terrific performances by all the supporting players. The gunfights reminded me of the old fun spaghetti westerns. Look for the great scenery and enjoy this film. Also, I was surprised to see MC Hammer play a bounty hunter with a cute midget side kick. If you like Westerns, check out Cheyenne.
... View MoreSeriously, don't you ever just get in the mood to spend a weekend watching bad movies that you only know about because you've just spent an entire hour perusing the shelves of your local video store, you see the bad movie in question and say to yourself, "Well, the picture on the box is HOT, I like Westerns/Mysteries/Horror Films, etc..., I've never heard of this before, so it must be crap"? Well, if you do, this could be just the movie for you.I have to agree with my fellow reviewer, with the exception of Bobbie Phillips nude scene, this movie is just plain awful, but I liked it just the same. This is the kind of movie you have to watch while you are in the right frame of mind. You know that it never got a theatrical release (hard to believe with the likes of M.C. Hammer and Bo Svendsun co-starring), you know that they don't make westerns like they used to and , because of that ultra-flattering picture of Bobbie Phillips emblazoned on the cover, you know that you are going to get to see a beautiful woman naked. With all that in mind, why WOULDN'T you choose to rent this movie? So, in summary, this is a BAD movie with some HORRIBLE acting and a BEAUTIFUL female lead. Only rent this if you've got nothing better to do and are in the mood for one of the worst movies you'll ever see. If you watch it knowing what you're getting into, you won't be disappointed.
... View MoreThe Movie has a VERY simple plot...Woman runs away from husband, bounty hunter sent to track her, bounty hunter falls in love with her, husband furious but still wants her back, woman has to make a decision. The ONLY thing that made this movie worth watching for me is the appeal of Bobbie Phillips. Not only is she striking to look at, she's just fun to watch. Her mannerisms and attitude in this film make the B-movie quality not only bearable but as if it was meant to be filmed that way...I doubt that it was, with the poorly executed gunfights, etc. The bottom line for me is that I found it entertaining because I enjoyed "Cheyenne".
