While running errands, Charlie, a quiet and reserved twenty year old, attempts to come out to his injured, traditional grandma, Betsy, for the 47th time. However, just as he thinks he's finally about to successfully break the news, he discovers Betsy has one more task for him to complete: delivering a letter to her arch nemesis, and prize cabbage crusher, Alice. Armed with his sister, Charlotte, they set off to deliver this very important letter, but they soon discover there's more to their rivalry than leafy greens.
