In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

Outstanding! Yes, worth buying, worth watching, then share with friends. If you grew up with Sid and Nancy, Suburbia, and Decline of Western Civilization, check this film out. I've read Brad's books for years and watched a couple videos, but Hardcore Zen certainly did justice for my punk soul-brother. Punk and Zen may be hard for some people to understand, but that has been descriptive of my life journey as well. A punk finds the calm in the chaos and Zen goes beyond the chaos to another calm. If you want to learn about meditation from a man who is "real" and down to earth, Brad Warner is the man. I highly recommend the film and the book that it is named after. Brad, Pirooz, and all involved, great job! I also enjoyed the funny "answers" to critics in the fight scene and sex scene ;) Congratulations on a production well done! Enjoy the journey! PS - eventually will send a postcard. :) Jennifer "Hap" Werther
