Bolero Trailers

Based on real event, Bolero is an excellent story of progressive recovery of a crime. The story surprises all the time, shows new connections, new possibilities, exposes new ideas and facts. It's possible to understand the film on more levels. It describes the position and all the feelings of victim's family, the police work as well as the impact of the crime on it's malefactors. It also touches the topic of moral decay of the descendants of rich, high-posted families. In addition to this, the power of the storyline is accentuated by the quality of the artistic treatment of the whole piece.

SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?

It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

A woman is savagely raped and murdered. Several years later the police start to put together the clues and make progress on the case.Great crime-drama - the methodical investigation is great to watch. Not just a crime drama, an indictment on the state of society.

The first time I saw the movie I simply could not follow it. It is a Czech language one and no English language dubbed version was available. It is not an action movie so it would be impossible to follow from the visuals alone.I searched for subtitles for it and finally found them on a obscure web site. Just to understand it I ripped the CD & incorporated the subtitles. Even than I had to pause intermittently to be able to read the subtitle text. I guess the Czech language is more efficient than English. My entire perception changed. It is an excellent movie, very well made.I somehow have a feeling that the majority of the voters could not follow it due to language problem.Very definitely worth seeing. Far better than any of those Hollywood churns out that depend on foul language, unnecessary and importantly unbelievable action, unrelated female nudity.
