A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

I was a 'zombie' extra in this movie along with two of my friends. I have got to say it was a load of crap to be honest. It was just something to do and well what else could you do in Belfast lol never again am I going to do an extra in a shitttie movie like thus. Sorry George but it has to be a 1 star.

This fine, fine filem was a learning experience. Apparently, Belfast is chock full of ninjas - who knew? Seriously, if this film is to be believed, you can't go 10 metres without running across a dozen of them. The city is apparently ALSO infested with zombies - though I think that it's caused not so much from a vaguely-shown "drug" as from the incessant fife & drum music that permeates the air of every single street. There are a lot of tunnels in Belfast. You get to see every single one of them. This movie's a mix of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Warriors... as described by a 14 year old boy who's texting to a friend, playing World of Warcraft, and eating peanut butter while he's telling you the plot. "Plot" being a VERY relative term here. It's actually not a BAD movie... it's just an underachiever. The filmmakers seem to understand that even though they expected us to go along with the bad martial arts, the LONG bloody battle scene HAD to be shot in shaky out-of-focus washed out colour vision.Wait, it WASN'T filmed by 13 year old boys using flip phones from 2008? Oh... then I guess yes, this was a bad movie.

The film centers around three people, Scott (Alan Crawford), Jill (Laura Jenkins) and David (Shane Todd). They are trying to go home but can't cross the bridge due to the horrible CG fire perhaps created by the mind of Don Pedro Colley. They are subsequently chased by the IRA parkour brigade and then people with bright red "blood" on the face running at break neck speed and their growls dubbed. The production was shot at horrible camera angles. At times it looked like the camera man took and break and just set the camera on the floor, but they kept filming anyway. The jerked the camera a lot and I wasn't sure what the ending blurred scene was about. They had an extensive chase and fight scene of 12 minutes long, but I can't complain because as bad as it was, it was better than the enhanced human scenes (zombies), something they should have developed a little better instead of filming guys in hoodies jump fences. I haven't dedicated a lot of time to my zombie kill technique, but I think I could defend myself against a zombie in a straight jacket...just saying. I also didn't know stabbing someone in the gut made a long extended squishing sound. The chase scene sound track was okay...even with the sword whooshing sounds made when people jumped, but the piano zombie music left room for improvement. Did I say many scenes were too dark. Hey! Pay your electric bill! Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Thank you Laura for keeping your top on.

Battle Of The Bone otherwise known as Zombie Wars is an obscure Irish movie dubbed as a zombie martial arts film.Made on a budget of around £10,000 it is one of the most embarrassing pitiful films I've ever seen and that is really saying something.I love the zombie genre but second only to The Zombinator (2012) this is the worst movie of it's kind out there.Camera work, soundtrack, cast, zombies looking dreadful and the "Martial arts" scenes being genuinely cringe worthy ,there are no words for just how bad this travesty is.I'd not even recommend this to someone I don't like purely because this movie needs burying not it's awareness raised.Truly dire stuff The Good: It has.....it does.....it stars....nope sorry nothing at all The Bad: The Irish accents are SO thick Very inbalanced audio Fight scenes are ridiculous and almost comedicAnnoying soundtrack Things I Learnt From This Movie: When films try to show free running it always looks pretentious and douche-like All chavs are free runners and all good guys are martial artists
