It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

Batman: Dead End is an 8 minutes short film where Batman tracks down Joker threw a dark alley but what he didn't except is that later on he would fight both an Alien and a Predator. The film is based on an old comic book where Batman went against the Predator his look is based on Alex Ross Batman adaptation which i always thought that he looked like George Clooney for some reason. I loved those easter eggs to previous films such as Mask of the Phantasm they actually used the theme of the film they also used the theme song of the original Predator which is great now there are also some little problems the look of the mask for me is off sure they changed this eyes to look more closer to the comics which was good but seeing the nose pop out sometimes out of the mask was not that great i just didn't like the way the mask looked also the fight scene although great on it's own way i hated every time that Batman screamed it was really not that good. I also remember Kevin Smith saying that this is the best Batman movie ever well not really it's on my list i mean it's way better than some big blockbusters such as Ghostbusters (2016) or even Batman Forever and Batman & Robin for sure and even some animated movies such as Bad Blood and Justice League v.s Teen Titans but i still think that Ben Affleck is the best Batman of all time and to those that keep hating him cause he killed people i'm pretty sure Batman murdered the Predator at the end and he was ready to murder even more and i know what you're going to say "But is an Alien" yeah sure he is but it's still a life Batman always killed in comics. movies, games or anything else that you can think of also before i wrap this review i want to say that those Batarangs or whatever he was holding on they were pretty cool you can find the full film on Youtube and there's also a behind the scenes look which is pretty awesome with the whole cinematography, style, stunts, effects they did a pretty good job with this movie i would also recommend you to see Predator: Dark Ages another great Fan Film i give Batman: Dead End (2003) a 10 out of 10 and an A+

Why this brilliant man was not given a huge budget to make this into a full length feature film is the BIG DISGRACE OF Hollywood. Sandy Collora's ability has gone to waste. If I had the money I would have given it to him. This also shows that there is dirty politics involved in Hollywood. This short film sets the standard for all the other action films. Reminds me of the original Predator by John McTiernan, who also created a shock-wave during that period. Here is a director who has the potential of becoming one of the greats like Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, James Cameron and so on...I wish Sandy all the best for the future!!! Plot: Joker escapes for Arkham Mental Asylum and the Batman who has been tracking him all the time intercepts him and the two stand face to face. Joker accuses Batman for the cause of his behavior. Well if that accident had not taken place there would be no Joker. Joker points out that his "mask" is permanent and not like Batman's, which can be taken off at any time. Then we see the Joker mysteriously disappears, grabbed by some creature, who then reveals itself to Batman. It is an Alien which we last saw in Ridley Scott's film Alien and James Cameron's film Aliens. The Alien attacks and overpowers Batman, who is totally overwhelmed by the creature. As the creature is about to "brain" Batman, he is rescued by a Predator who has been watching the fight between the Alien and Batman. The Predator laser cannons the Alien who dies immediately.Batman throws a boomerang at the Predators laser cannon which disables it. Now the good part. A fight to the death ensues between the Predator and Batman. Batman is beaten up heavily by the Predator, but still keeps his spirits up for an eventual opening which happens soon enough. Then the Predator is at the mercy of Batman who is just about to kill him when he hears a inhuman laughter coming from behind. He turn around and see's more Predators. What he doesn't know is that some more aliens have also appeared.... The short film ends here. And the ending credits roll.Notable actors: Clark Bartram who is a fitness instructor plays the role of Batman. The role fits him like a glove, and he shows good intensity and emotions throughout. And he is really the main character of this short film. The late Andrew Koenig played the role of the joker. Truly this was his most famous contribution to us. He is absolutely stunning. His acting is of the highest level and he adds a new dimension to character which Jack Nicholson portrayed in the Tim Burton film, Batman. I am very tearful as I am writing this, as I was unaware that Andrew passed away February 25, 2010. May God give him peace. On a closing note: this is a great viewing on your home theater system. I suggest you buy this short film on DVD/BLU-RAY if possible.A full 10/10. Stupendous achievement.

Batman:Dead End is one of the best superhero short films ever produced. It portrays the best of the character in comics today, its grim and gritty look is amazing and the acting is first rate. Clark Bartram looks the part as the Dark Knight while Andrew Koenig makes for a memorable Joker. Also the fight scenes with the Aliens and Predators are exciting to watch. the film looks like it came out of a comic book portraying Batman as he truly is: a dark vigilante and not the goofy and campy version like the 1960's television show.Sandy Collora does an good job in directing as well. If you are a Batman fan I highly recommend this movie.

Remember that this fan film was created and released in 2003 and it's STILL a cult/underground hit, and has spun off lots of 'unofficial' custom merchandise (batman dead end costumes, 'dead end' action figures, etc.) It also spun off other fan films. One that was really well-done was 'Grayson' (about Robin, the boy wonder). Also the same Dead End Director (Collora) did an even-lower budget trailer, "World's Finest" about Batman and Superman (using the same Batman actor and a buff superman actor). Lots of folks have critiqued these directors and fan films, but I have yet to see a better job, regardless of any size of budget. And, just imagine if the 'Dead end' director did a real batman movie! The costume is much more 'true' to the comic form than the current batman big-screen flicks, I think.
