The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

We all know that the first Balto (1995) is the best of the trilogy but the sequels are very good and enjoyable so lets talk about wolf quest, for a kid movie it as charmed especially for the story, the animation is not bad, the music score is great (I especially love the music when Aleu choose her new home in the end), the voice acting is very good like I always like Mark Hamill (who is voicing the joker on the classic animated series of Batman) and in this movie he is voicing an evil wolf and it was perfect. The movie had some default, some cheap dialogue, I already said that the animation was not bad but its not very great, but the viewers do not look far enough behind it, viewers thought that Aleu ran away because of the heritage of wolf well it wasn't exactly for that all her life she still had hope to be adopted but then her father reveal how humans sees her the truth about himself of his wolf part he never told her (which is a big mistake). The ending broke my heart when Aleu Finally found her new home and who she is, the music score in this scene was perfect and beautiful. It is actually a very brilliant and special movie for children that I will recommended.

Boy, what a let down this film was, I mean the first Balto wasn't a flawless film by any means, but it was a solid, enjoyable animated film, that even if you don't like it, you knew they were at least trying. The story of Balto 2 is that Balto and Jenna now have a litter of puppys, but one of them has obviously contracted the wolf gene from Balto. After growing up, the pup, named Aleu, runs away, and now Balto must find her.Probably my biggest problem with film is how bad of a sequel it is. This has barely anything to do with the first film, it adds all kind of spiritual stuff, the first film was about a group of sled dogs who get lost on their way to get medicine to Nome to save half the children, and Balto goes to save them, that's it, it's simple but it works.Another thing is the animation, the 2-D isn't horrible, but it's a step down from the first, and then theirs the CGI. The CGI is so obvious, I'm sorry but this doesn't work as well as the Stampedes in The Lion King and Mulan. Then theirs the music, the movie seems to think that howling is the same as singing. The voice acting, really the only problem I have is Balto, I'm sorry, but the first time I saw this I though it was Matthew Broderick, and I like Matthew Broderick. And the ending, there is no reason that she had to leave, all they had to do was push the Alpha wolf over to them.Overall Balto 2 is a bad sequel, and just a bad movie on it's own, there are a few good things, but overall, just watch the first one.

The adventure of Balto continues with a charming, heart-warming continuation of where the first film left off. I don't think it is as good as the first film, but it is certainly an improvement on previous sequel efforts, is there anyone here who didn't like Cinderella 2 or Secret of NIMH 2? If anything I wish the film was five minutes longer, to me the ending seemed rather abrupt. Balto: Wolf Quest also doesn't have the best story in the world, but the story still is well-paced, and in general well-written, despite some uneven attempts at humour.(Muk and Luk) The script is on the most part touching, and I thought the animation, while not as good as the animation in the first film, was very good, with a lot of symbolism that I thought was most effective on screen. I liked the songs, beautiful melodies, but sometimes overshadowed the story. The film is brought to life by a terrific voice cast, including Little Mermaid's Jodi Benson as Jenna. Boris wasn't as funny here, but Charles Fleischer does a commendable job, he reminded me a bit of John Cleese's Jean Bob in Swan Princess. Lacey Chabert is very spirited as Aleu, a young wolf who yearns to find the truth about herself, and Mark Hamill is suitably nasty as Niju. I thought the actor with the best vocal talents in the movie, was the late David Carradine as Nava, a performance of subtlety and restraint that was admirable. I will confess I was very scared by the three wolverines, with their burning red eyes, their appearance is enough to frighten a very young child. All in all, a charming sequel, not as good as the first film, but I wasn't expecting it to be. I've learnt now that save a couple of exceptions,(Toy Story 2, Home Alone 2 and Garfield 2) none of the sequels I have seen to anything, surpasses the original. 7/10 Bethany Cox.

I just absolutely LOVE this movie!!! This is my #1 favorite Balto movie!! Anyone could be touched by this movie. It's sweet and has a sweet and happy ending. Here's what I said in a nutshell: OMG I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!! Please get this movie for your kids - or yourself if you are a major "Balto" fan, like I am. I don't see how anyone couldn't like this amazing movie from an amazing series that deserves to see more public recognition than it does already. A good plot, great and memorable ending, enjoyable well-voiced characters, and a slight bit of humor are a few elements of this great movie. The songs are great as well. Add this and the other Balto movies to your collection if you don't have them. The ending will touch you and stay with you forever. One more thing - at the end, break out the tissues. You may cry. I've watched it like twenty times, and it has never failed to amaze me or make me cry. :_) EXCELLENT MOVIE - A MUST SEE!
