... View MoreThis movie was by far the worst I have ever seen. I wish I could think of something smarter to say like "although so and so was good, the acting just wasn't up to scratch" but no this movie is an embarrassment to Australia as a country and to any actor, director or producer who has ever attempted to make a movie. This wasn't an attempt to make a movie this was an attempt to make viewers want to gouge their own eyes out. Possibly Aussie Park Boyz could of been a social experiment used by Nazi's in WW2 as a form of torture but we doubt it. The acting is atrocious, that embarrassing if I were in the movie I would want it destroyed immediately. The Dialogue surely was written with red crayon by one of these gym junkies on his lunch break while landscaping. And remembering that it's a gangster style film about an Italian/Australian gang who fight other groups you'd think "okay, ill put up with the rest to watch some good action scenes (fighting) Wrong!!! These guys are mostly bouncers and have never acted before so there fights are full of large angry looking men swinging hay makers and (punching leaves on a tree when their angry..) while making their own punch "whooshes" and "slap" noises because obviously the special effects team were deceased at this point. It seems harsh but I love quality movies and TV and I care about the users on IMDb to much to recommend this foul thing... stay away! I beg you.
... View MoreThis is by far the worst movie that I have ever seen. It includes the worst acting known to man, the worst soundtrack imaginable, the cheesiest cinematography and more. Every aspect of this movie is by far the worst I have ever seen in its realm. The screenplay is so bad it cannot be expressed in words.But.. on the upside, this movie has given me more laughs than any other movie I have ever seen. I have watched this piece of sh*t four times so far, and if my friend hadn't lost the DVD, I would have seen it more than that. This movie is unique in the fact that it is BY FAR the worst movie ever made, and in being that, it is absolutely hilarious. Every time I have watched this it has made me crack up from start to finish. The soundtrack, the characters, the "acting", the complete and utter randomness of the scenes, and total lack of realism all come together in a whirlwind of lameness to form the funniest thing I have ever seen on film. This movie is an absolute classic: it is the BEST worst movie ever.
... View MoreI love watching Australian movies but this steaming pile of crap was just plain embarrassing. The DVD cover looked promising but you know what they say, don't judge a DVD by it's cover. I also noticed that it won Best Actor for an award but the competition must have been really bad because the acting in this film is pathetic. It just seemed that the director thought he had enough talent to direct and act when he should really focus on one part of film-making and get it right before spreading himself too thin. The music was pretty ordinary. The story really didn't go anywhere. It was just a sequence of fights strung together with poor script and cheesy dialogue.I will say this to all aspiring filmmakers though. Watch this film. It will give you hope that your film will win something at some festival. However, good on them for getting in there and having a go. Hope they learned some lessons and their next venture is a little better.
... View MoreAussie park boyz is a beat 'em up film. Made mostly with a hand-held camera, the acting is the worst you've ever seen and the story...well there isn't much story, a gang of illegal boxers think they can go around smacking people's heads in and are proved wrong by other, nastier gangs. The moment the film starts you know it's gonna be pretty shabby but the point is the fact that it is enjoyable. Its a film about fighting so lets focus on the fighting. The fight scenes are surprisingly not that bad, they are unrealistic but they are good and tense. Then there is a scene that is probably most shocking because it is unexpected - the rape scene is incredibly realistic and very grim with the music making it even more unsetling. Thankfully, the part of the rape that involves a sledgehammer is implied.Enjoyable but nothing special. six out of ten
