A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

I don't know many people who would find this film funny. I would have expected more from Zucker production. Kevin Farley played Michael Maloney, a Michael Moore type film director. The film makes some tasteless jokes about terrorism and liberalism. The cast is first rate but the writing could had been better though. The film is long enough under 90 minutes. A Christmas Carol but set around July 4 to have Michael Maloney to have a Scrooge experience with three ghosts including country singer, Trace Adkins, General S. Patton (Kelsey Grammar) and the late President John F. Kennedy.

I had accidentally watched this film in Dubrovnik, Croatia in an open Jadran film theater. Film theater was nicer place then the film itself. Also, viewing audience did not really understood what is really in the film.Conservatives lashing back at Michael Moore! Some of us understood that. Well, I think they have it right from their point of view. He worked tirelessly to take the White House away from the Republicans. and he finally did. It was not a miracle that someone would make a film trying to bash Michael.Well, I think plot should be looked as a continuous struggle between the Republicans and Democrats for power in the USA.Acting is OK, but nothing spectacular. All in all, if you want to watch Republicans bashing at Democrats this is a film for you, otherwise, you might skip it, nothing special in it.

Offensive in some ways, and Historically unfair on Neville Chamberlain, whom I admired for not wanting war, considering the horror the Great War had been, but he is maligned unfairly by many Historians, yet JFK himself stuck up for him in his book. I will admit I am also not certain about some of the Historical claims made in this Film. But it is interesting these days that Hollywood would even bother trying to show a more Conservative point of view, which I think is about time, although I will admit it would have been better had it been in a more serious film. I am prepared to admit that not everything in Hollywood is made by Liberals, but it seems that a fair bit is. Only now are some people moaning about this when one finally gets a film that does not entirely slam Conservative values when no one cares about all the Liberal rubbish we have to sift through that comes out of Hollywood especially. As I admitted, this is not always the case, but if Hollywood does have a Liberal lean, which I know it does, it is their choice, but at least have the decency to admit it - which also goes for those Conservatives also who put their slant on things. To me, this film hit the nail right on the head. What, are Lefties upset about the apparent Right of Centre opinions in here, or even the fact that those who disagree with the Liberal Left should even have one ? Get over it. You may think you can brainwash everybody, but some of us like to think for ourselves. I am not an American, and I have admiration for the good things about both Your major Parties, and do not endorse one or the other, as my views are a bit of a mix. I agree with the idea of Universal Health Care, and if the Rich Right do not want that, then pay your workers a decent wage, and make sure there are jobs for everyone. On the other hand, I do believe in traditional Christian values, and will admit that a lot in this Movie was not Christian, but I do not believe in forcing Christianity on people - it is always meant to be a choice. It just seems that when we Conservatives are genuinely expressing our own ideas, you assume we are deluded, just because we disagree. If you can think for yourself and come to your beliefs that way, fine, but at least have the courtesy to extend that to others who may disagree - I do.

I saw this movie by chance on Danish TV last night. And I enjoyed it. It is from an openly conservative viewpoint, which I found refreshing, and the parody of Micheal Moore is quite good. It is also quite funny. It probably sets off all the 'politically correct' alarm bells - but I quite like that :) It has a similar structure to many other 'parody' movies and uses big (ish) names in cameo roles - so it is not ground breaking or new in that sense. What is new is that several actors were prepared to be in a movie that could have damaged their careers in some ways due to the political stance that is taken. However, I personally feel that far too many otherwise good movies are dominated by a 'politically correct' agenda.
