It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

This is another anthology with the shortest segment running about 4 minutes. The first two segments (second one was my favorite) deal with Halloween while the rest do not. I found 2-3 segments enjoyable and the rest was meh. Perhaps the most amazing aspect of the film was the woman had a working VCR attached to her TV set and not in a closet.I have never seen a pumpkin carved that easy, quickly, and precise with a large knife.Guide" F-bomb. No sex or nudity

All Hallows Eve 2 is strange bag of items mixed into one movie, which for me kind of falls short of what it could be.The main elephant in the room here is yes the clown is missing in this one, and sadly there is no big act at the end of the movie. It's also missing a slasher feel to this film.That's the problem with the film, the clown is foreshadowed and foreshadowed in the original and then it leads to the main act at the end. With this sequel it just a bunch of short stories and then ends abruptly. Apparently some of these are youtube videos? Which to me is fine, gives them a higher platform to be on. The short stories range for slow (VERY SLOW) burners to out right gory within the first 5 minutes. It does a good range of stories for everyone, but it sadly masters at none.Still a solid a watch, just don't expect a ridiculous yet awesome ending like the first one.

I watched the first installment of this series a couple of years ago. It was not that bad. In fact, it was kinda' creepy because the antagonist was a clown...and I HATE clowns.Part 2 did not change from its predecessor. A woman finds a VHS Tape (of all things) on her doorstep, after she has noticed some goon standing outside her apartment holding a knife in one hand and wearing a REAL BAD pumpkin mask. She (of course) plops it into her tape machine and is treated to some short stories--most of them bad. However, as in the first installment, it seems Pumpkin Man is trying to come through her television. Anyone who saw the original could tell it was cheaply made, BUT at least it tried to entertain. Part 2 was completely unoriginal, non- scary, and just an overall mess. If the people involved with this want to have another installment, I suggest they actually sit down and try to write a better script AND leave a "CD" on the doorstep. I don't know of anyone who still has a VHS player.Rated R for violence.

A collection of eight independently-produced Halloween-themed short films, with an overarching plot that these were left as a VHS tape on a young female horror fan's doorstep by a masked, knife-wielding stranger.Most of the stories are extremely short, in the 5-10 minute range, the longest being about 17 minutes. They often have little plot, rather being merely campfire-style, mysterious horrific occurrences with no real beginning, climax, or resolution.They are all, nevertheless, rather original, well-produced, and effectively gripping. The acting and effects are all quite satisfying and convincing. A couple even push the grim envelope, even by today's standards. One story takes the unusual route of being entirely in Spanish (with subtitles), whose inclusion in a primarily English-language movie was, I felt, an admirable risk.The only true weak point for me was the very end, where the framing plot was wrapped up a little too simply.Each short story, along with the framing plot, were independently produced by different writers, directors, and crews, and each one's credits are shown in sequence at the movie's end.
