How wonderful it is to see this fine actress carry a film and carry it so beautifully.

Seen this as a kid in the 80s. NO one believed me there was a movie called Alien Preditors. Thought I was making it up. Thank god for google. Even though the kids who said I was full of crap will never read this Im just gonna say after all these years..Here it is. Suck it. Oh and the movie is cheesy as hell...I'd still watch it again and again though. Out of spite mostly now. Kids on vacation in Spain come across some old lab that fell from space that contained a little monster. It infects the locals and terror ensues. If you like monster,80s horror with a slice of science fiction thrown in, you'll love this movie. Has the 80s gore we all love and miss and just enough plot to follow but not enough to make too much sense.

Two guys and a girl are on vacation in Spain. On their way to Madrid, they run across the small town of Duarte, where a Skylab fell four years prior. Unfortunately, microbes from the station didn't burn up upon re-entry as originally assumed. The townspeople are being infected by the alien microbes, turning into deranged, beer throwing hosts for alien predators.Fun film is a bit slower going than you'd expect, spending time on the characters' love triangle. Highlights? We briefly meet a family including a guy who sounds like a Three Stooges reject. There's a groovy scene with a masked wacko and a big truck that tends to teleport. There's also a smartass bearded guy who's awesome and isn't in the film nearly as long as he should be. You don't see much of the creatures themselves, but when they appear, the effects are good. Think the chestburster from Alien with spider legs.

Very nearly the, if not THE worst film I've ever seen. I got it by mistake; it was supposed to be AvP, but some idiot screwed up. Most bad movies at least partly redeem themselves, if only by achieving "so bad it's good" status. Not this one. The acting is stilted and the plot frequently makes no sense at all. Samantha is a totally insufferable bimbo and Damon and Michael are only marginally better. I don't recall it ever being revealed just what the three of them were doing driving around Spain in the middle of the night anyway, or what is the significance of the (apparently) Indian family whose fate was so terrible we weren't even allowed a peek at their bodies. I can't tell you what the monster really looks like, because I was only allowed tiny glimpses of it, not even enough to try to guess its species, never mind being afraid of it.Bottom line is, they just shouldn't have bothered.Bernie

Three friends go to Spain for a vacation, but their fun is cut short when a deadly group of aliens begin killing off everybody. This was one of those films I really loved as a kid and it was one of the very first horror films I ever owned, but today as an adult it is pretty boring stuff. Has a cast of has beens who are actually pretty appealing, especially Dennis Christopher who proved what a great actor he was in Breaking Away. Nothing really happens at the beginning. It just drags and drags. However, things really do pick up at the climax and there are some really memorable moments here.Rated R; Graphic Violence.
