Alice and the Three Bears Trailers

The Three Bears are busy cooking when Baby Bear realises his recipe requires hops. Naturally his first inclination is to go find some frogs to provide for him his hops, so he runs off and pursues a frog at the local pond. In the meantime Alice and her cat stumble upon the Three Bears' house and sneak inside (Ma and Pa Bear are nowhere to be seen).

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

This cartoon is among Walt Disney's earliest--though few today would know about these Alice cartoons--assuming his animation career began with "Steamboat Willie" and Mickey Mouse! When this Disney cartoon begins, it's VERY obvious it's NOT based that closely on the original story! You find Baby Bear trying to mix up a batch of illegal alcohol (it was during Prohibition after all). The recipe included shellac, paint remover, nails and an old inner tube--but he then realizes he need hops! How he gets hops is pretty cute. Soon, Alice and her cat come onto the scene and Baby Bear and the cat get into a fight. Soon, Mommy and Daddy Bear arrive and things look bad for Alice and the cat. So what happens next? See this one for yourself--it's VERY clever.
