Better Late Then Never

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.

This show is one of the best on TV in a long time. Starts out slow but got incredibly interesting and intriguing after a couple episodes. Watched every one and can't wait to see the next season. Give it a chance and watch at least a few episodes before condemning. The story line becomes intense as different characters keep popping up when different prisoners return from the past. They do a great job getting into the back story of each new character without taking away from the ongoing plot. Their are many parts of the story to follow and it keeps you guessing as everything's you think you have a part figured out it switches it up on you. I really love a show that keeps you thinking, to many today are mindless entertainment (if you can call it that) with no intelligent storyline. Definitely worth your time.

The somewhat sad review I have to give to this show is that despite fairly good acting and plenty of action the writers chose for some reason to leave it to pretty much the very last episode to give this show any depth. The storyline, had it been outlined from the beginning and developed throughout this show would have given the potential to push my vote from 6 up to 8 or even 9 but sadly that was not the case. Disappointing but the show just didn't reach its potential for me. But hey, the action was fairly good and the acting was fairly good so if you are happy with simplistic and unchallenging shows and you are able to forgive them for being a little nebulous in their plot development then Im sure you will enjoy the show. I did. I just think it was capable of being a lot more and found that a little disappointing.

This is a show that shows all the same sort of promise and excitement that Prison Break showed a few years back. Sadly, with the network axing it before we even get a sniff of a conclusion, there is little point in watching this.Over zealous American Network bosses doing what they do worst - judging shows on the dollar bills in their pockets. No wonder the USA doesn't have the same cult shows that the UK produces so regularly. It helps to keep up the poor reputation of American Television though.If you have nothing better to do, then watch this - but I warn you, you'll be disappointed when the series ends abruptly and leaving you wanting more.

Yes, i give it one star. A broken car with a really expensive paint job is still just a broken car.I don't think i have ever been as disappointed by a show before. Its been widely marketed as "the new lost", however this show doesn't even come close to the atmosphere and gripping mystery of the first couple of Lost seasons before it, IMO, spun out of control.As a sci-fi nerd, one of the coolest things about "people from he past wake up in the future" themes is how they react to and interact with the new and undoubtedly strange world they find themselves in. We see nothing of this in here. One of the criminals, having spent roughly 2 hours in the present time, told some guy to "put his phone away" referring to his cell phone. I think that says it all. Whats next, they go on twitter in an internet café and brag about their crimes? The female cop lead looks like shes 18 years old and is completely un-likable. The fat guy from lost adds some comic relief, however although he is supposed to be some genius doctor of criminology, in the show he just scripted as the fat guy from lost.I think my major gripe with the show is the lack of present-meets-past. The criminals act like they have been traveling 5 years in time, not 45.I stopped caring after 5 episodes.
