Thanks for the memories!
... View MorePlot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
... View MoreWhile it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

... View MoreI caught this at the London Sci-Fi Festival with high expectations. It was the opening film and the stills looked interesting. Sadly the film was seriously poor, like it had been made out of old milk cartons and stitched together for an audience's benefit. It wasn't clear whether it was a comedy, or a mystery film, or a family drama. The script was really poor - very confusing and unsure what it was. The camera work was often OK but not the acting. Poor special effects belied no budget. A weird cast which seemed to lean towards ample-busomed ladies over acting skills. How anyone could give this 10 star I do not know. I give it 2 stars for putting the film together independently, but none for the watch. Hopefully the filmmakers will have learned from their experience and do something better in future. If not they should stick with the dayjobs.
... View MoreThis is a story about a weird house and the weird family, two parents, two boys and two girls, who grew up there. It's a large, beautiful, but run down country house with acres of land. Their dead dad - James Jones, was an inventor who made something that made him a lot of money, so he bought a big house and had a big family. Unfortunately, although he invented many more things, nothing ever made any money after the first big payoff. His inventions became more and more weird and imaginative, but he just couldn't get it right. The family come together for the bereavement and this is where the intriguing plot happens. Great film
