Really Surprised!
... View MoreI'll tell you why so serious
... View MoreOk... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
... View MoreI enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
... View MoreNow if you don't mind cliches, I guess you can have fun with this. If you like your 50 shades of whatever color is your special kind of kink, then you might enjoy it too. While I've only seen the first one of those (and did not read the books), I think comparing them is not that far out. There is a bit of flesh showing, though mostly without anything too much (except one scene I think), but that should not be the point you hold this movie accountable to. Even if it is the theme of the movie, which takes a very strange and even disturbing turn towards the end. Addiction is real and it's not wrong to seek professional help ... if nothing else, we know as much (or have learned that watching the movie?)
... View MoreWhat did I just watch....you mean to tell me, this girl can get away with all this and blame it on addiction...so if I go out, and line me up 4 or 5 honeys and bang em out, it's just an addiction. I'm sure my girl would understand and come to my sessions. What about when girl catches Spanish homie givin' it to Diamond? She was jelly, peanut butter and jelly, that ain't nothing to do with sex bruh.. she caught them feelin's like she caught that car comin' at her. This was probably the most gender biased waste of 1 hr 45 mins of my life. Props to her for getting away with it though, then sayin she was just addicted, she killin' the game. She was definitely addicted, to what the d!ck did.
... View MoreI watched this on DVD from my public library. Based on the title it tells a story that could be any addiction - drugs, alcohol, sex - and the main protagonist goes through the various phases. And there is a ray of hope at the end.Sharon Leal, 40-ish, is Zoe Reynard and has formed her own company, "Zoe and Company", to represent and find financial opportunities for artists. She apparently is good at it but the one time we see her approaching a new client she is rather passive. Maybe because she was attracted to him.Indeed he romances her and agrees to be represented mainly because he wants her. She in turn has developed a sex addiction and although she has a great family and loves her husband, she cannot control her lustful desires. This drama plays out more like a "B" movie, especially during the last half hour or so. It is interesting but not too memorable.Boris Kodjoe is good as the architect husband Jason Reynard.
... View MoreThis was without a doubt the worst movie I've ever seen. My wife and I ended up playing a game predicting all the next events, and wouldn't you know we got them all right? Addicted is a movie that seems to have been borne out of a film school class betting on how many clichés each student could put into a movie...but one student wrote some movie-cliché-mash-up software - and this was the automaton's entry! The acting was historically poor - we will measure all bad acting in the future to the psychologist in the film. We ended up laughing our tails off at the horribleness of it all while we finished our popcorn, then walked out. Bad bad bad.
