... View MoreThe reviews here are proof positive that shills are hired to generate good reviews and give another recap. When no one watches a movie and no one writes reviews - it becomes obvious. (Since it's out on DVD as "The Avenger," it can't even figure out a title correctly.) In this dismal outing, each character is a caricature; dialog is stilted; boxes are checked for a "revenge" movie but are poorly executed; the usual stable of made-for-TV performers going through the motions.
... View MoreThis is another "Hand That Rocks the Cradle" type of film. Gina (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) loses her her parents on the same day and blames Real Estate developer Parker Randall (Michael Woods). She becomes a live-in tutor for his step son (Reed Ramsden) so she can fulfill her dream of killing him. This is a made for US TV film. It is boring and the story develops very fast and unlikely until we get to the part where Gina is in their household. In the film her surname is Jensen, same as her soon to be ex-husband Mark (Paul Hopkins). On the credits it is Wright and on the IMDB write up it is Meyers. Her parents are named DiSalvo.Made for TV film where women have a strong lead.
... View MoreWonderful film with a young lady resigning her teaching position due to the fact that she feels that her male co-worker was unjustly fired. Our young lady has recently parted the ways with her husband.Surprisingly, this is not what the story is about. After the tragic deaths of her parents, the woman sets out to take revenge on the man she felt caused the construction accident leading to her dad's death. While rushing to the hospital, an auto accident occurs taking her mother's life. She finds out that the construction head has mob links and is quite a womanizer. Thereupon, she takes a position as a nanny to his wife's child. The ending is all too familiar with the idea that hell hath no fury as a woman scorned; in this case, the boy's mother who has long suspected her husband's philandering. After all, she was once his secretary as well. That's not to say that our Romeo didn't get what he deserved.
