When a single mother and her two young daughters moved into their new home - adjacent to a cemetery - they had no idea they were making the biggest mistake of their lives. The family's "dream house" ultimately became their worst nightmare when they realized it was inhabited by an aggressive & territorial spirit. Desperate to drive them out, the entity repeatedly taunts the mother by terrorizing her young children and anyone who dares visit the residence.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

So obviously fake. How can they even try to say this is real? The Blair Witch Project was more believable than this low budget fake. This movie must have been made by first year film students. Multiple scenes of "paranormal activity" that they probably could have saved money not doing; they are digitized scenes using outdated programs making it look cartoonish in movement and appearance. It would have been way better and may have liked the movie if they didn't try to lie and call it a documentary.

While recuperating from back surgery, I've been watching a ton of horror movies. I have now reached the bottom of the barrel. I REALLY don't understand how this flick received more than a one star rating. Slow plot, documentary? Watching paint dry or watching grass grow is much more interesting and exciting. I should have guessed with a nickname of "Prozak", what to have expected.

A HAUNTING IN SAGINAW, MICHIGAN is one of those 'mockumentary' pictures, in other words a fake documentary that's determined to make you think it's the real thing. It has much in common with the ghost hunting genre of reality television which has been so popular since the turn of the millennium. A guy sets up cameras around his supposedly haunted house and films lots of inexplicable events. A lot of it is filmed in night vision. The FX of moving furniture and the like are quite laughable and the acting is hardly better; convincing this ain't.
