a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

This is a nice, short and to-the-point cartoon short, running at just over one minute that basically is an commercial advertisement to give back to the community. The Disney shorts have seen many classics and the Pluto ones are entertaining(Pluto's Christmas Tree is my personal favourite). A Feather in His Collar is worth a look but it is nowhere near one of his best. The animation is very good, full of colour and fluidity. The music has the usual lushness and liveliness, the action and scoring match each other really well. Pluto is a likable lead character, and the short definitely delivers its message and point and not too heavy-handedly. Even for a commercial short though, A Feather in His Collar feels really scant and ends on a rather abrupt and is that all sort of vibe. It did feel a little rushed as well, and the story- the length doesn't help it- is forgettable. All in all, interesting curio but not much more than that. 5/10 Bethany Cox
