I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

In all honesty, let me start by saying several of my guests looked on in disgust and concern while asking me to stop this movie. It really was that bad. Even though some of the cast has found minor success on the catastrophe known as cable television, there is absolutely no excuse for this movie being made. However much money was squandered making this terrible, terrible film, could have been spent on whiskey and prostitutes. This movie is like the holocaust in that somebody should have done something to stop it only nobody did. First of all, despite having used the same cameras that shot Steven Soderbergh's "Che", which was a masterpiece and pioneer of independent film making - this movie looks like something shot on a camcorder from the eighties. The characters and dialog were positively too cheesy not to shave off an I.Q. point or two. Unless you mistake it for one of those Adult Swim-type, "It's so bad it must be on purpose"-style comedies. I'll end by saying that on a positive note, this movie could possibly be used in the future to show aspiring film makers how not to make movies.

The film was something that I did not expect as I was just trying to relax with something new. The writing was better than most films today in that I did not figure it out. There were many twists and turns in this film but the Directing was what made the film an 8 out of 10. The camera work was really good and only a few lemons as actors throughout the entire flick. It made me think of TRAFFIC and the seedy and dark world that pulls you in and drags you down to it's level. At the same time, the film had many characters that were exactly where they needed to be so that it seemed like you were on the screen with them. Michelle was better in this than anything that I have ever seen her do. This should be a breakout role for Patrick Adams in that he is soooooo good in this film. The reason to watch this film can be summed up in two words: COWBOY JACK! This is a fact and this film is worth buying for Charles Wesley's performance in this film. Being conservative and with a bit of humility: " I want to dance for him at his bar TONIGHT!"

Wow! In a word it was really a WoW kind of film! It is one of those kinds of films that you think that you can figure it out but you can't. The film takes turns and twists that you never expect and that keeps you glued to the story. I like the Cowboy Jack character and I want to see him again. ( maybe at my house ) This is a must see if you like action and mystery without all the BS special effects. A really exciting drama/mystery/suspense film that I will also buy. The cast was really strong and I loved the locations. This is a film that makes you wonder why the studio system cannot put films like this on the big screen. It takes good writing like 3 Days Gone to give the over budget Studio Crap films that special kick in the pants that will allow them to do better. The film 3 Days Gone should be seen by everyone that likes good movie making. The writers should be acknowledged as the cutting edge story tellers of today. Bravo!

Saw this movie by chance on Amazon. I had seen the ads for this movie over the weekend and decided to check it out. I was not disappointed. It was a breath of fresh air in the action genre when all you see nowadays are sequels and uninspired movies. Man am I glad to see Charles Wesley back to work as it has been far to long for him to be out of movies. He is quite possible this generation of actors most underrated stars. Anybody that has seen a movie with I'm in it will agree that his acting skill is underrated. Now on to the movie... From the beginning action sequence (which ends in cop-dog convo) to the end when you see the everybody getting away without anybody ever really knowing their true identities, you will be impressed with the direction this movie has taken. I can easily say that this movie is of the same caliber as "All Saints Day" which is at theaters now.
