The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
... View MoreIt's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
... View MoreThis is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.
... View MoreThrough painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
... View MoreI really can't figure out why there are people to give this great film a negative grade. this film has it all. it's a crank already but a vast improvement. the plot the story the action...u never get bored. this has everything. even romance and emotion here and there. for an action flick of this type it's almost perfect. of course it has a few flaws but these are to be expected. I wish all those kind of films to be like that one. if u watched and loved the accident man starring jay white and scott adkins 10 times u will love this flick another 100 times. it's what the other film was only a lot better minus the martial art sequences the other film had of course. if this film had scott and white in it would ger an A GRADE. now it gets a B grade which is very good indeed. an 8 out of 10. don't miss the one. u will never know how time passed.

View MoreAfter a mercenary dies in a brutal firefight, a new regenerative surgery gives him a second chance at life and another shot at redemption........For 24 hours.......Ethan Hawke can multitask in whatever film genre there is.Pick a genre, and you'll find him appearing somewhere. It's a basic rehash of 3 days to kill mixed with In Time, and it hides nothing up its sleeve. If you want to see a film that basically rips those two films off, sprinkles a little Escape From New York in the mix, and has a one sheet that makes you think of Jack Bauer, look no further. We know Hawke needs redeeming, he's lost his family and has turned to drink. After an offer he can't refuse comes his way, he is fatally shot, but bought back by having a stop watch inserted in his arm, and having his skin dyed fours shades greyer. The mad on from Peaky Blinders is an old friend that guess what, turns out to be on the other side, so it's up to Hawke to find out what the devil is going on before the counter reaches zero. This should have been a frenetically paced B-movie, and even though it has some decent action moments, you can't help but think of better action films from yesteryear.Rutger Hauer pops up as the father-in-law, but this doesn't offer anything new to the action genre, and it's instantly forgettable....
... View MoreSo, this movie is a cliche and we've seen it mosly before, but so what? The is about an assassin who is played by Ethan Hawke, who is killed and bought back to life. That is all need be said. The movie action is pretty standard, but in an era of overused CGI and everyone bandwagoning on Superhero movies, this is a gem.It is more of a thriller action movie, with a sci-fi twist. It seems to be a smaller budge movie, but is a treat to watch with a high testosterone crowd or on the weekend. I give it an 8 out of 10. It will not win an Oscar, but way better and enjoyable than those artsy fartsy movies than win awards due to identity politics or female empowerment.
... View MorePerfectly directed action flick, honest action scenes, non-deluded or fantasy action hero.. Great entertainment, flag ship for todays era of new type of B rated actions movies, which are concentrated more on choreography, effect and directness. This movie has it ! Dont be distracted by critical people who wants every move feels like Einstein... Fast and furious are shi**y movies with no realism, this movie can perfectly hide every single shortcomings..
